Ham’s F12 was developed for the clonal growth of Chinese hamster ovary (CHO) cells, lung cells and mouse L cells and depending on the cell type with or without serum additive. Ham’s F12 is a preferred medium for dialysized serum, hormones, selenium and other supplements in serum-free cultures. Cloning medium for the cultivation of myeloma and hybrid cells and rodent cells, especially rabbits and rat.
